ENG/ My visual work arises after an investigation around the process and result of traditional engraving. I propose to rescue the method of adding and subtracting material with which an Engraving matrix is ​​made, not as a process to record an image to be repeated, but as a result and means of shaping it. Wax and stoneware are the main materials with which I work. These are intervened or adhered to different oily inks and water, to create surfaces of interleaved layers that are then carved making an image appear. The line is the gesture by which I am shaping the image. This obeys the limits of the support, establishing a relationship of continuity or break as dictated by the composition or the nature of the image itself.

SPA/ Mi trabajo visual surge tras una investigación en torno al proceso y resultado del Grabado tradicional. Propongo rescatar el método de adición y sustracción de material con que se elabora una matriz de Grabado, ya no como proceso para grabar una imagen a repetir, sino como resultado y medio de conformación de ésta. La cera y la cerámica gres son las materialidades principales con las cuales trabajo. Estas son intervenidas o adheridas a distintas tintas oleosas y al agua, para crear superficies de capas intercaladas que luego son talladas haciendo aparecer una imagen. La línea es el gesto mediante el cual voy conformando la imagen. Esta obedece a los límites del soporte estableciéndose una relación de continuidad o quiebre según dicte la composición o la naturaleza propia de la imagen.
