ENG/ As an artist, I am interested in how we perceive our context and the socio-political issues that affect nature and territory through photography.

In my research, I use analogue photographs, videos, and installations. I am interested in mixing the pictures with other materials, for example, printing them over different substrates, presenting natural materials with synthetic ones; and building installations that can fictionalize the idea of landscape, territory and its transient condition in time.

A fundamental aspect of my work is the production of images that bring to the fore the uncanny through poetic language. For me, it is essential to develop poetry through the artwork. I am interested in creating images that present latency and examine the concept of memory, removing objects from their environment, and presenting them in new scenarios.

SPA/ Mi investigación se basa en explorar y experimentar las posibilidades de la fotografía análoga y su encuentro con diferentes materiales y medios. Por ejemplo, llevando las imágenes a objetos industriales o volumétricos, para crear esculturas o piezas instalativas. Como fotógrafa me interesan los detalles que se encuentran en el paisaje urbano y natural. Pequeños gestos que, al rescatarse mediante la fotografía, adquieren potenciales simbólicos infinitos. Algunos conceptos que rondan mi trabajo son la nostalgia, el territorio y el encuentro entre lenguajes análogos y digitales. Como artista me interesan las anécdotas y los mitos que se pueden construir a través de la fotografía. Sobre todo sobre nuestro contexto y los conflictos socio-políticos que afectan la naturaleza y el territorio. Utilizo la fotografía análoga, el video y las instalaciones para producir imágenes que presentan segundas reflexiones. Mi trabajo se centra en las problemáticas que afectan principalmente a tierras como Sudamérica, donde el post colonialismo ha marcado el paisaje y su posible identificación con él.
