ENG/ I’ve always thought that painting, in any case, doesn’t have to represent or look for a “theme”; I think painting is an individual language, with its own symbols and codes, and where the artist sometimes tries to dialogue with the observer and, in others, does not; this gives different analyses or perceptions about the painting. That is why my work doesn’t have a lot of certainties, it lacks prudence, turning into approximations that represent somehow a feeling or desire from the other. That fantasy is the only trustworthy representation

SPA / Siempre he creído que en ningún caso la pintura debiese buscar o representar un “tema”, pienso que la pintura es un lenguaje propio, que tiene sus inherentes códigos y simbologías, donde el artista intenta dialogar con quien la observa y a veces no, dando como resultado, diferentes análisis o percepciones de la misma. Por ello es que mi obra no tiene muchas certezas, carece de prudencia, convirtiéndose solo en aproximaciones que representan algún sentir o anhelo propio. Aquella fantasía es la única representación fidedigna.
