I studied Visual Arts and Architecture in Santiago, sculpture and engraving in Mexico. I have lived for 11 years in a rural area near Puerto Varas (Patagonia Chile). My work lives in process, opening new spaces. Art-Context; I decided an austere setting that allows me to take the necessary distance required in order to live and reflect on society’s new paradigms, accentuating aspects concerning society, landscape, nature; questioning its structures through subtle site-specific interventions that recognize roots in unrooted lands, between living and doing, between the territory and the human. Politics appear questioned, as a fine idea, guiding processes, dialoguing within an institutional critique through my visual proposal, a matter that revalues the forgotten, the fertile, the primordial, the sustainable in a global present. In that pursuit, I travel and live through a multiple and diverse creative process, searching for settings that allow me to act as freely as possible, libertarianly, on various media.

Estudié Artes Visuales y Arquitectura en Santiago, escultura y grabado en México. Vivo desde hace 11 años en una zona rural cerca de Puerto Varas (Patagonia Chile). Mi obra vive en proceso, abriendo nuevos espacios. Arte-Contexto; Decidí un escenario austero que me permita tomar la distancia necesaria para vivir y reflexionar sobre los nuevos paradigmas de la sociedad, acentuando aspectos de sociedad, paisaje, naturaleza; cuestionando sus estructuras a través de sutiles intervenciones en sitios específicos que reconocen raíces en tierras desarraigadas, entre vivir y hacer, entre el territorio y lo humano. La política aparece cuestionada, como una fina idea, orientando procesos, dialogando dentro de una crítica institucional a través de mi propuesta visual, un asunto que revaloriza lo olvidado, lo fértil, lo primordial, lo sustentable en un presente global. En esa búsqueda, viajo y vivo un proceso creativo múltiple y diverso, buscando escenarios que me permitan actuar con la mayor libertad posible, libertariamente, en varios medios.
